Who we are

DanceLand and DanceLand Anthems are operated by The Radio Broadcast Co. This policy explains what we collect when you listen or visit, and what your choices are.

What we collect

• Listening data such as which station you played, when, and for how long.
• Technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate location and IP address.
• A random listener ID stored on your device so ad breaks aren't repeated back to back.
• Anything you send us directly, such as an email or a request.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary items to make the player work, and — only with your consent — advertising cookies and identifiers that let advertising partners measure and tailor the ads you hear and see. Refusing consent never blocks playback; you simply hear untargeted advertising.

Advertising

Audio advertising is inserted into the stream and companion banners are shown alongside the player. When you consent, a consent signal is passed to our advertising partner so ads can be personalised and frequency-capped. You can change your mind at any time on the cookie preferences page.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. Email privacy@danceland.radio and we'll respond within one month.

Retention

Listening and technical data is kept in aggregate for reporting. Identifiers used for advertising expire or can be cleared by resetting your choices or clearing your browser storage.
